Hello from Texas. The weather is awesome. We have fields and fields of wild flowers--Blue Bonnets, Indian Pain Brushes, Buttercups and many more. I will attempt to post some pictures.
I've been watching CNN about the Red River coverage. I hope Mayor Nagen (New Orleans) is taking note of what folks can do!!!! People helping people...nothing like the good down to earth folks from the midwest.
On a sad note, sweet Aunt Shirley from Crofton passed away (Loren's Shirley) on March 21. Besides my Mom, she was probably one of the sweetest women to walk this good earth. She will truly be missed.
My longtime friend from Tacoma will arrive in Texas on April 8 and she is staying for two weeks. I have an agenda planned and we will be busy. Hopefully my "bailout" check will get here before she arrives......LOL.
